This cup!

September 9, 2009

There are moments in our lives that we want the suffering to end, we think the cup is not good, do not understand that God has a purpose and that all things work together for our good, now we pray to God to get us out of suffering, and very often it does not strip.

The Lord Jesus also suffered, came to want to end the suffering that was not necessary to go through it "Saying, Father, if thou wilt, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless not my will but yours." Luke 22:42 , someone to go through Jesus could ignore his suffering, and even think he was very happy and was bursting with wine by the body, when actually what ran through his body was blood because of the great agony he was experiencing at that moment "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly. And his sweat became like great drops of blood falling to the ground. Luke 22:44 , "the Lord Jesus while on this earth as a man has taught us that God's will is best, we can not understand the suffering and despised the written: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 , Jesus feared, but he was heard by that dreaded "Who in the days of his meat offering, with loud cries and tears, prayers and supplications to what could save him from death, was heard in that he feared " Hebrews 5.7 , He was heard, but the Lord Jesus had to go through it for the purpose of God's redemption of man could happen, and that the Father could also glorify again, "Father glorify your name. Then came a voice from heaven saying, I have both glorified and will glorify it again." John 12:28 , it was after suffering ending of the Lord Jesus, the Father glorified. ( Rev 1.12-20 shows the glorified Lord Jesus). Let us read Hebrews 2:8-9

8 - All things in subjection under his feet. However, since all things under him, he left nothing not subject to it. But now we see not yet all things put under him

9 - We see, however, crowned with glory and honor Jesus who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God should taste death for everyone.
The Cup seems to be good, but we support, always waiting for the will of God, because the end is certain: We will rejoice at the ending of the cup.
The promises to those who win are many, I describe some of them:
He who overcomes, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. Revelation 2:7
He who overcomes, I will give to eat of the hidden manna, and I will give you a white stone, and stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. Revelation 2:17
And he that overcometh, and save until the end my works, I will give power over the nations. And with an iron rod to govern and will be broken as a potter's vessel as I received of my Father and I will give him the morning star. Revelation 2.26-28
To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me on my throne as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. Revelation 3:21
