Feeding on God!
January 9, 2009
God sent manna from heaven every day that means we must seek God's presence every day, because God told Moses that the people who wanted to catch the manna every day to test whether the same people honored God, and they could not catch the manna and custody for more than a day except on Friday that Saturday was a day of rest.
If it was saved on another day the manna that was not the sixth he gave animal and smelled bad.
In other words: Find the manna every day, "the day our daily bread give us today Lord," Jesus taught to seek the bread of today and not tomorrow, not the bread of my neighbor.
The Lord wants us to believe in him every day, knowing that it can sustain us today, come tomorrow when he could provide too, because "the Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever" Hebrews 13.8
The Lord holds us in his word that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed better than the lilies of the field they neither sow nor reap, the Lord sustains the birds, and we? We are worth much more than many birds, we are worth much more than a lily of the field today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire Luke 12
This means that in time we have unemployed, unable to work, the Lord can sustain us, and the Lord gives us rest as well, so on Friday the man should get a portion for two days, and in this case did not smell bad and not gave animal.
The Lord only wants one thing: That we seek him first.
Although it seems that I take this issue to the side of eating, dressing, but I want to take this subject, but spiritually eat and wear The Lord wants us to seek him every day, every day we can, hear the word, study , reading, going to worship, not just go, but worship. I say possible because there may be factors Alei them to our will we can not go to church, but we can worship God wherever we are
Because the Lord wants us to do so?
The Lord Jesus said in his word: I am the bread of life, who feeds on me shall never hunger.
Do not eat every day to feed our body? We likewise spiritually feed us every day, but that food? "I am the bread of life, Jesus said," feed on Jesus, reading the word that he left us.
What is the consequence of not eating all day? Frail, powerless, fallen in the same way spiritually, we need to feed the Lord Jesus.
The Bible tells us that Cain killed Abel, but was suddenly? No, it was because Cain was gradually giving way to sin, the Lord said to Cain:
"If thou doest well, there will not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door, and to thee shall be his desire, and rule over him." Genesis 4.7
Cain did wrong, not praised the Lord as it should, Cain wanted to offer to God the worst of it, and it was giving lugara to sin, sin knocked on the door and Cain opened the door.
Cain did eat manna one day, weakened, Cain did not eat the other day and weakened further, wanting to go and sin.
Someone would say, being in anger Cain killed his brother, the people will do things "extraordinary" does things without thinking, but because Cain was angry? It was a sudden? No, Cain was giving way, was growing slowly, wanting to please God first anyway, the parents of Cain and Abel spoke of how it was to please God,
taught at two, but Cain wanted to make the cult itself, so it did not please God, Cain sad, angry with his brother, invited his brother to Field, there killed him.
Sin comes gradually, slowly, step by step.
So we go to worship every day, feed us, I repeat: not only go but culturar Ah! no longer worship in the church all day. It is true, so the Lord gives us the manna for two days to three days until the next
opportunity, but the manna of the Lord we all have access to our house, the Bible, we read, study and listen. "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy ... Revelation 1.3", theme of the Bible Mail
Jesus also said: "Do not err because ye know not the Scriptures nor the power of God? Mark 12:24." The lack of food in Christ makes us miss the lack of knowing God.
Food of the word, feed the body of Christ.
May the Lord speak better in every heart!
