A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
And knowing that his father would give him a good gift,
told him that a car was all he wanted.
In the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his office and
said how proud he was to have a son like him and as
loved him, and handed a gift-wrapped box.
Curious and disappointed the young man opened the box, found a
Bible and said:
"With all your money you give me a Bible? "
And left home.
It took a few years and the young remembered his father and
concluded that he was too old and maybe I should go see him,
because it had not been with him since that graduation day.
While preparing to travel received a sad news,
his father had died.
And when he arrived at his father's house, and intense sadness
big regret taking care of your heart.
Then he began to look at things that his father had left and
found the Bible, and was turning some pages.
His father had underlined a verse:
"If ye being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your Father who is in heaven, give to those who so
ask? "
Matthew 7:11
As I read these words, he saw a car key with
label from a dealership and the date of his graduation saying
"Pay the view."
Often we lose the blessings of God, just because they do not
are in the package we want.
